Everton could move on a few players in the fast-approaching winter transfer window, as the rumours are starting to heat up.
David Moyes wants to add quality to his squad, with a striker very much being targeted, along with a midfielder and a full-back.
So, Moyes could be forced to sanction a few sales and Beto has recently been linked with a move to AS Roma.
Dwight McNeil is also wanted by Nottingham Forest, and it’s understood that Everton are open to letting him leave once Iliman Ndiaye is back from AFCON.
How much could Everton sell Dwight McNeil for?
Forest fans have been reacting to the McNeil rumours, and they’re all saying the exact same thing.

Nottingham Forest fans can’t believe Dwight McNeil rumours
Nottingham Forest supporters have taken to X, formerly known as Twitter, to give their verdict on the potential McNeil signing.
It’s fair to say they aren’t best pleased.
@Hillereal said: “McNeil? That would be a massive backwards step…would feel like 2-3 years ago… We don’t buy other teams’ rejects now, we buy stars…”
“Yeah we certainly don’t need him. Not an upgrade in any shape really,” @sammy_ameobi added.
“Even Dan Ndoye is better than McNeil don’t f—— do it Forest,” @NFFC_02 commented.
“Gaffer deserves players he wants however surely we’re more ambitious then McNeil now days,” @1865ma noted.
@msmmcglau posted: “Dwight McNeil? Really not sure about that one to be honest….”
@C0869392473666 said: “F—— McNeil???? Nah nah nah, let’s not do that.”
Everton should aim for £15m for Dwight McNeil
Everton shelled out around £20m for McNeil back in 2022, and he has enjoyed a pretty decent career on Merseyside.
The former Burnley wide player has made over a century of appearances for the Toffees, netting 15 goals whilst laying on 18 assists.
How many signings do you want to see made in January? 💰
A striker, a midfielder and a right-back… are we missing anything here?
McNeil, who now has 18 months left on his contract, has seen his value plummet this season due to a lack of game time, but he should still command a decent fee.
Around £15m would be a reasonable price tag, and if Everton can get that, it’d allow them to reinvest that money into a striker or full-back, which they desperately need.
