Everton are expected to be active in the January transfer window, which is just over a week away from opening.
Everton are in the market for a striker, and AS Roma’s Artem Dovbyk has been linked with a move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Troy Parrott is also being eyed by David Moyes after his sensational performances for AZ Alkmaar and the Republic of Ireland.
On the outgoing front, there could be movement away from Finch Farm, too, and there is a fresh report emerging linking a Toffees first-teamer to Nottingham Forest.
Sean Dyche is very keen to reunite with him.

Nottingham Forest want to sign Everton winger Dwight McNeil
According to the Telegraph, Sean Dyche is exploring a deal to sign Everton winger Dwight McNeil this winter.
How much could Everton sell Dwight McNeil for?
McNeil has been a fringe player since Moyes returned to the club at the start of the year and has started just one Premier League game this term.
Dyche is set to offer him a move away from Merseyside to reunite with him at Nottingham Forest, although there are obstacles to overcome.
The report states that Moyes may not sanction McNeil’s departure until Iliman Ndiaye is back from the Africa Cup of Nations.
The final of the tournament takes place on January 18th and Senegal are one of the favourites, so the Toffees will likely retain McNeil for the first few weeks of 2026.
Selling Dwight McNeil would open up opportunities for Tyler Dibling
In Ndiaye’s absence, McNeil actually started the last game against Arsenal, which left many Toffees supporters frustrated.
They wanted to see the £40m summer signing Tyler Dibling, but the teenager only got 15 minutes as a substitute.
How many signings do you want to see made in January? 💰
A striker, a midfielder and a right-back… are we missing anything here?
Selling McNeil would allow Dibling to get more game time as a starter and super sub, so it would be beneficial for his development.
Everton fans weren’t too impressed with Dibling against the Gunners, although it’s clear he just hasn’t had the required game time to get up to speed and into a rhythm.
