Everton have made a shock start to the Premier League season, and David Moyes will hope to continue this form after the international break.
With the campaign presenting promise after three games of the new season, the Toffees have a platform to build on.
Normally, the first month of the football year isn’t kind to the Blues, as Everton hadn’t won in August since 2021, until now.

For once, Evertonians won’t want to go into the break, as the Toffees look like a completely different team.
Progress was expected under Moyes, but with Everton sitting in fifth, they’re overachieving in some way, and a new outcome is being expected by Opta’s Supercomputer.

Opta Supercomputer now predicts Everton to finish 11th
Before the season began, Everton were predicted to finish 13th, which matches their finish of last season following the Scotsman’s rejuvenation.
There’s a feel-good factor around the club again, and with the Hill Dickinson Stadium at the centre of it all, the project looks exciting.
But after only three games gone, the Opta computer isn’t getting too carried away, having the Toffees end their season in 11th, which is at least an improvement.
| Club | Expected points |
| 10. Tottenham | 51.97 |
| 11. Everton | 51.89 |
| 12. Brentford | 48.64 |
| 13. Man United | 48.63 |
The Blues aren’t too far behind Tottenham, who sit just above them, as Moyes will be delighted with the progress.
Judging by this, Everton might have only one thing on their mind, as something they haven’t achieved in four seasons will be lingering on their minds.
Everton can certainly achieve top-half finish with summer signings
Fans have been longing for good performances at the club after the failed spells of Rafa Benitez, Frank Lampard, and Sean Dyche.
But if anyone were going to give the Toffees a chance of achieving a top-half finish once again, it would be Moyes.
The last time they achieved this feat was under Carlo Ancelotti, with Everton finishing tenth, a position that can still be improved upon this season.

It’s been too long a period of failure for the Merseyside club, and with the signings of Jack Grealish, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, and Tyler Dibling, everything points towards a recipe for success.
Rival fans agreed Everton won the transfer window, and it’s hard to argue why the Toffees can’t achieve their goals this season after an explosive start.
