Everton’s move to Bramley-Moore Dock this summer could see their calibre of transfer target raised.
The Friedkin Group are set to embark on their first summer transfer window on Merseyside after getting the keys to Everton in December.
A substantial transfer budget has been set for Everton ahead of the window opening next month.
Natural excitement will be building around the club as David Moyes will finally be able to put his stamp on the squad after returning in January.
The Friedkins want to make a statement signing for Everton in the market as the club makes the transition to their state-of-the-art stadium.
There is one obvious potential transfer who could make for a blockbuster return this summer in Richarlison, but Everton may be eyeing something just as big.

Paul Gascoigne addresses Jack Grealish to Everton speculation
It has already been suggested Everton could be a landing spot for Jack Grealish this summer.
The England international’s future at City remains in doubt after further struggles under Pep Guardiola this season.
Speaking to Sporting Life, legend of the game and former Toffee Paul Gascoigne has shared his thoughts on the possibility as he knows Grealish well.
“Everton? That’s a weird move for him that. The club he’s at, I think Chelsea would be a good stop,” he said.
“I think Katie [his agent] still speaks to him. I mean Everton’s a good club, to be fair. It’s a big club. I think it’s just a case of all these teams wanting to match Manchester City, you’ve got to spend money.”
Everton are keen to sign Richarlison from Tottenham Hotspur this summer and there is even the possibility of landing him on loan.
Grealish would arrive on Merseyside on the back of a mega-money move to City where he has been earning huge wages.
It would be interesting to know what Moyes thought about potentially bringing in the 29-year-old.

David Moyes loves Jack Grealish as a player
Everton are looking to sign a new winger when the window opens with much more needed going forward.
Grealish has endured a difficult run at the Etihad Stadium which could well spell the end of his time with a change of scenery needed.
But this is a player who broke the British transfer record just a matter of years ago after leaving Aston Villa for the Premier League giants.
And he is a player who Moyes absolutely loves having previously praised him in the past.
“I think he’s a fabulous player. He’s got terrific ability and he’s always looked a good player,” he said in a past press conference.
Whether the 62-year-old would like to try and bring his career back to life at Bramley-Moore Dock is another matter.
