Everton have had their case of injuries this season but no one has more of a case than Armando Broja who has endured a difficult time with injuries at Goodison Park.
Everton will be hoping they can get a positive performance out of their meeting with Peterborough United in the FA Cup on Thursday night.
This comes after a dismal spell of form in the Premier League which has left The Friedkins losing faith in Sean Dyche and may be looking for his successor.
Dyche hasn’t always had the key players available though, as the likes of Jarrad Branthwaite and James Garner have had serious setbacks this season.
Armando Broja is someone who’s had the worst of it after having a history of spells on the sidelines and suffered yet another injury against Bournemouth on Saturday.

Everton receive ‘positive’ update on Armando Broja’s injury
For once, luck has gone the way of the on-loan Chelsea striker who has only amassed five appearances in Dyche’s side this season.
Broja collapsed to the floor after it appeared he had suffered an issue to his back after kicking the ground when taking a shot in the first half.
The striker was subbed after 32 minutes for Dominic Calvert-Lewin as the Albanian international made his second successive start for the Toffees.
However, the injury isn’t serious at all. Journalist, Simon Johnson has suggested that Broja suffered a ‘minor back injury’ and the expectation is that the 23-year-old should only be out ‘for a week’.
Good news for the striker as Broja endured time with the Everton under-21s when injured before, and will be hoping the situation doesn’t arise again.
Broja can make his claim for the Everton striker spot
Despite playing very few for the Toffees, Broja has shown his promise.
After Everton’s 0-0 draw with Arsenal, the Albanian received plaudits from Everton fans detailing Broja is a ‘bigger threat’ than Calvert-Lewin.
Judging by Everton’s strikers’ numbers this season, it wouldn’t be hard for Broja to leave a good mark on the Everton faithful.
| Everton’s striker statistics in the Premier League this season | |
| Dominic Calvert-Lewin | 2 goals – 19 games |
| Beto | 1 goal – 12 games |
| Iliman Ndiaye | 3 goals – 19 games |
He’s known to provide a hard-working mentality on the pitch and that could be perfect for Everton, but his worry is staying fit.
Dyche can see Broja’s competitiveness, which could be a useful tool for Everton as they have yet another relegation scrap on their hands.

Broja wants to make a positive impact at Everton, and after Everton fans feared the worst, the striker can maybe get a run of games under his belt in the coming weeks.
