Everton fans may well feel that the bad news just keeps on coming following the latest Premier League announcement this week.

The Toffees have just three games remaining this year before kicking off what could be a seriously exciting 2026 for Everton.

Recent results have been extremely positive for David Moyes despite the loss at the weekend against Chelsea in west London.

The games do not get any easier and Everton will welcome Arsenal to the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Saturday.

This fixture caused uproar, with Everton fans furious over the rescheduled Arsenal date, which has forced an 8pm kick-off on Saturday evening.

However, it seems as if Sky Sports are not listening to the concerns of the match-going fans as a new update has been shared on Wednesday.

Everton have another two fixtures rescheduled for 2026

Since the stadium was opened, Everton fans have held concerns about transport issues in getting home after the respective matches have finished.

As good as the Hill Dickinson has been for the club, it is apparent that there are still some improvements needing to be made.

Those concerns will only be vented again as it has been announced that a further two Premier League fixtures have been rescheduled for a Monday night.

Everton have now played four Monday Night Football games on Sky Sports already this season, with the latest coming against Manchester United.

Moyes broke his Old Trafford curse through Everton’s 1-0 victory, but the latest round of fixture changes may hint at a Premier League rule being broken by the broadcasters.

According to BBC Sport, no Premier League side can be picked more than five times for the Monday Night Football slot on Sky Sports.

Last month, the report claimed: ‘And as Manchester United have already been picked three times in the Monday slot, they can be selected only two more times.’
