Everton have had 10 permanent managers in the last decade.
During Farhad Moshiri’s reign, Everton had a very scattergun approach, and there didn’t seem to be a lot of joined-up thinking.
The Toffees made a number of questionable appointments, with Rafa Benitez the most obvious example.
Why has it taken this long for Everton to complain? 🤷♂️
The club have FINALLY had enough… 😡
In hindsight, Moshiri also made a big mistake in sacking one of his former Toffees managers, as he’s now in talks to join Real Madrid.

Real Madrid in talks to appoint former Everton boss Marco Silva
Marco Silva has established himself as one of the best managers in the Premier League since being sacked by Everton in 2019.
Silva has been linked to a number of jobs over the last year or so, with Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur all believed to have shown an interest.
Where does Thierno Barry go from here? This Everton fan has had ENOUGH! 😡
Second week in a row fans have been left furious
The Fulham boss is out of contract at Craven Cottage at the end of the season, so as it stands, he’s due to leave.
That said, according to Alan Nixon’s Patreon, Silva’s representatives are in talks with Real Madrid as the European giants look for a permanent manager.
The former Toffees boss has picked Real as his first-choice destination, pushing aside interest from Chelsea.
Amid Everton fan frustration towards David Moyes, it certainly seems like a bad decision looking back to get rid of Silva 18 months into his tenure on Merseyside.
Former winger Theo Walcott previously said Silva is an ‘exceptional’ manager, so clearly the players really respected him.
“When you work under a man like this, Marco Silva. I actually experienced a bit of Marco Silva as well, I’m not sure if you realised. How do you find him as a coach? I thought he was exceptional. I really do.
“I found how in-depth he is compared to the old generation of managers.”
