Everton have big aspirations for the future as some fans may question whether David Moyes is the man to take them to those heights.
From the start of the season, Moyes pushed Everton to target European qualification after a busy summer window.
It has certainly not been plain sailing for Everton this season after injuries and other absences have depleted their squad at times.
However, the Blues remain right in the mix for those European spots, but inconsistencies may raise questions about Moyes.
The 62-year-old has finally been able to bring some stability back to Merseyside after years of turmoil under the previous ownership.

Theo Walcott hails ‘excellent’ manager who Everton sacked
Marco Silva couldn’t cope with Everton earlier in the season when the Blues took all three points from his Fulham side.
The two sides will meet again this weekend at Craven Cottage.
Speaking for BBC Sport ahead of the game, Walcott has waxed lyrical about the former Everton manager, Silva, following their time together at Goodison Park.

“When you work under a man like this, Marco Silva. I actually experienced a bit of Marco Silva as well, I’m not sure if you realised. How do you find him as a coach? I thought he was exceptional. I really do,” he said.
“I found how in-depth he is compared to the old generation of managers.”
Silva was recently mooted as an option for Manchester United following their sacking of Ruben Amorim earlier in the year.
Six years on from his sacking on Merseyside, the Portuguese manager now finds his Fulham side level on points and goal difference with Everton after 24 games.

David Moyes’ Everton future set to come under scrutiny
Having landed back on Merseyside 12 months ago, Moyes now has just over one year remaining on his current deal.
Moyes has admitted he won’t stay at Everton for years upon years like he did during his first stint at the club.
Which leaves the question of whether he will remain at the club beyond his current deal expiring next summer.
Some Everton fans have already named Edin Terzic as a possible replacement for Moyes when his time comes to move on.
European football has to be the goal for Everton and Moyes will be well aware that his side are not too far off it, despite their issues over the season so far.
