One former Everton boss, Carlo Ancelotti, could find himself out of a job soon, and their potential replacement is rather ironic if you’re a Toffee.
Both Real Madrid and Manchester United could find themselves looking for new manager soon, if the Spanish club decide to sack the former Toffee.
Everton are in a good place for once and things are actually looking up, with the takeover and a new stadium to look forward to on Merseyside.
The Everton takeover is intensifying and the days are ticking down, with a late November to mid-December timeline being placed on it.
Dan Friedkin is even inviting George Downing and Andy Bell to join his board at Everton, after the pair tried to buy the club in June but failed.
However, it’s a former Everton manager who has been in the news recently, as Carlo Ancelotti‘s future now looks uncertain at Real Madrid.

Real Madrid want to replace Carlo Ancelotti with Zinedine Zidane
Real Madrid actually stole Carlo Ancelotti from Everton back in 2021 after Zinedine Zidane left the club, which left the Toffees with a managerial search that ended up with Rafa Benitez 30 days later.
Now, it appears as if they’re set to make a U-turn on their decision that directly affected Everton by going back to Zidane.
According to the Spanish media (as per the Hard Tackle), Zinedine Zidane is the subject of interest from Real Madrid, with Florentino Perez weighing up his options.
Carlo Ancelotti’s time at Everton
Farhad Moshiri somehow tempted Carlo Ancelotti to take over at Goodison Park in 2019, with the hope he could build something special on Merseyside.
However, that just didn’t go to plan.
The one highlight for the Italian boss was ending the 22-year wait for a derby win the other side of Stanley Park courtesy of Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson.
To be fair to Ancelotti, he averaged 1.60 points per game at Everton, which is superior to the 1.29 that Sean Dyche has achieved so far.
