Everton have been linked with Youssef En-Nesyri for the past couple of weeks – and now there’s been a significant development with the Fenerbahce striker.
Everton have been in the market for a new striker this month, although the club are not absolutely desperate to get a deal done.
The club have been looking to see what’s available, and a few players have been linked such as Jorgen Strand Larsen, Troy Parrott and Wilson Isidor.
Alan Myers isn’t a fan of Youssef En-Nesyri…who should Everton sign instead? 🤔
Recent reports regarding Youssef En-Nesyri concerns about English weather haven't impressed many…
Youssef En-Nesyri has also been strongly linked with Everton recently, with David Moyes having been a fan of his since being at West Ham United.
Last week, Fabrizio Romano reported that Everton proposed to take En-Nesyri on loan with an option to buy.
But there have been other clubs in the background – and one of those clubs are now on the verge of pinching him.
Everton’s Youssef En-Nesyri pursuit about to end as Juventus move nears

It has been reported by Foot Mercato that En-Nesyri has actually now reached an agreement in principle with Juventus.
It was reported previously that Juventus were En-Nesyri’s priority, and seemingly everything is all good on his and their side.
Foot Mercato say an agreement has been reached, and that negotiations between Juve and Fenerbahce are at an advanced stage.
On top of this, A Spor journalist Erdem Akbaş has reported this morning that a meeting is taking place today between the two clubs to finalise the deal.
At the moment, Fenerbahce are wanting a mandatory purchase option, whereas Juve want an option.
But Akbaş says this is expected to be resolved.
Everton’s focus may now have shifted from a new striker
En-Nesyri to Everton had been looking fairly unlikely for the past few days before this latest update, and now it looks pretty much dead in the water.
Perhaps Moyes will be disappointed, as it seems En-Nesyri is a player he’s long admired.
Who would you play at left wing in place of the injured Jack Grealish? 🤔
The winger is reportedly facing THREE months out – do Everton need to sign a replacement?
But actually at the moment, a new issue has cropped up for Everton with the injury to Jack Grealish.
He’s looking at three months on the sidelines, meaning a new winger is perhaps now the more important position for Everton.
Perhaps we could see Everton look to move for Patrick Wimmer, the Wolfsburg winger who has been linked with a move in recent days.
