Everton remain in the market for a new striker, with Youssef En-Nesyri having been linked with a move to Merseyside.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Everton had made an offer for En-Nesyri.
But the Toffees are not the only club keen on the Morocco international.
How big of a risk is this for Everton? 😫
Scoring goals in Turkey is completely different to the Premier League…
Indeed, En-Nesyri has had interest from the likes of Napoli and Juventus, with clubs in Saudi Arabia also looking at the Fenerbahce striker.
Everton fans have been keen to see progress be made over En-Nesyri following the struggles of Thierno Barry and Beto.
But it seems like the club’s hopes could be fading.
Youssef En-Nesyri keen to join Juventus

Turkish journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu provided an update on En-Nesyri on Sunday – and it was one that could now see the Toffees change direction.
Sabuncuoğlu spoke in a live video on the Sports Digitale YouTube channel about En-Nesyri’s current priority.
And at the moment, the 28-year-old’s desire is to join Juventus. And if not them, then he would like a move to Napoli. There are offers on the table from both of these clubs at the moment.
There is unfortunately no word about Everton, just that Italy appeals warmly to the player.
It has previously been reported that En-Nesyri would have reservations about the UK climate, which does fit with what Sabuncuoğlu has said.
Everton heading for disappointment over En-Nesyri
Between this information about Juventus and the claims about the player preferring a warmer climate, it is looking like a deal for En-Nesyri could be tricky at this point.
Everton need to quickly establish whether there is any possibility of an En-Nesyri deal happening. If there isn’t, then the Toffees hierarchy must turn to alternative targets.
Surely any hungry striker would leap at the chance to play in the Premier League? 🫣
Not the best look for Everton's potential new striker…
There is no time to lose, with the Toffees needing to strengthen.
If Everton get this right, it could well be the difference between a mid-table finish and playing in a European competition next season.
