Rico Lewis has again been linked with a move to Everton.
The club are searching for a new right-back this summer, with the position a big priority for David Moyes.
Djed Spence has been heavily linked but might prove too expensive, while the likes of Guela Doue and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are also of interest.
How would you rate the potential signing of Rico Lewis as our new right-back? 🤩
Guardiola and Grealish absolutely adore him… 👏
Interest in Rico Lewis has again been reported though, with Moyes said to be appreciative of the 21-year-old’s versatility.
Lewis was likened to Philippe Lahm by his old manager Pep Guardiola, and could certainly bring a lot of nice traits to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
But there could also be an added bonus of signing Lewis.
Rico Lewis to Everton may aid Jack Grealish pursuit

Jack Grealish is a player Everton want back at the club after his loan spell last season.
His 2025/26 campaign was cruelly cut short by injury, but he has firmly stated that he loved his time at the club.
However, things have now become complicated, with Grealish’s loan officially over.
He has now returned to City, and it’s been suggested that Enzo Maresca may want to take a look at him.
Just focusing on Everton’s right-back search, who should the club bring in this summer and why? 🤔
From Spence, to White, to Norton-Cuffy, there have been links to so many players so far…
It’s possible he could get a new lease of life under the Italian. He wasn’t really wanted by Guardiola, but Maresca may get his arm around the player and look to use him in his squad.
Essentially, his head could turn.
But Lewis moving to Everton may well divert his gaze away from his current surroundings.
Lewis is a player Grealish is fond of.
A couple of years ago, Grealish made an Instagram post that featured the pair in training, with the caption ‘Man like Broc’ a nickname he affectionately bestowed on Lewis based on the haircut he had at the time.

They know each other well, so if Grealish sees him making that move, it might encourage him to really push to come back.
Interestingly, Everton have also been linked with a move for John Stones this summer.
The centre-back is a free agent now after leaving City and if Everton moved for him and Lewis, then that could really have Grealish clamouring to return.
