Everton could soon find themselves in a position where they are in need of a new manager.
The Friedkin Group have landed on Merseyside and the new Everton owners are needing to make some big decisions.
Sean Dyche’s Everton position is under question with the Toffees failing to pick up results in recent weeks.
Everton are now looking to make some January transfers work which could improve Dyche’s chances on Merseyside.
But there is one name in the managerial world which is emerging as a real contender to make a return to the Premier League.

Simon Jordan criticises Graham Potter amid Everton links
Everton are looking at Graham Potter as a potential Dyche replacement, but they are not the only club in the running for the 49-year-old.
West Ham United are also being linked with the former Chelsea manager as they may make their own managerial sacking.
Speaking on TalkSPORT, Simon Jordan has torn into Potter after hearing the out-of-work manager is demanding time to consider any potential offers.
“I mean, what’s this fella all about? Really, who is he that he’s that great he can tell everyone they’ve got to wait?” said Jordan.
“I mean, I think he’s a flake anyway. But the point is that, ultimately, West Ham probably don’t. He may well go and do a decent job for them because by the standards of West Ham, they might consider his job to be a decent one.”
Some Everton fans are keen for David Moyes to return to Merseyside instead of Potter with a decision potentially being forced due to the poor results.
The January window may provide an opportunity for Dyche to see his squad upgraded, but the Toffees are in serious need of a result.
Graham Potter spotted with West Ham chief
Everton are expected to give Dyche some time before making a decision with an internal review set to go on until March.
But Potter is a manager who is believed to be on their radar just in case Everton do make a decision on Dyche.
However, the 49-year-old has now been spotted meeting West Ham chief Tim Steidten amid the speculation surrounding Julen Loeptegui’s position.
Everton could sack Dyche if the results do not improve, the question is how much the Friedkins would like Potter in their dugout at Goodison.
