“One player that wasn’t on the list, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, eight goals and six assists. Do you think he’s been unlucky that he’s not had a chance with England?” Allardyce was asked on the No Tippy Tappy Football podcast.
“There’s that much competition though. But he’s really surged since he’s gone to Everton. Since he’s gone to Everton he’s had a real surge,” Allardyce said.
Dewsbury-Hall has loved life at Everton since making the £24m move from Chelsea over the summer.
The midfielder has landed at a club that values his talent and Moyes has certainly handed him a key role in the side.

However, there will be a sense that Dewsbury-Hall has left some goals out on the pitch.
Dewsbury-Hall feeling effects of Everton over-reliance
Everton have relied heavily on Dewsbury-Hall’s goals this season, meaning he has played a lot of football.
Without much rotation from Moyes, the 27-year-old has looked slightly off the boil in front of goal since the international break.
Moyes admitted he expected more from Dewsbury-Hall at the weekend, with two big chances squandered by the midfielder.
There will be no bigger critic than the player himself when it comes to those opportunities on Sunday against Crystal Palace.
With a full summer of training ahead of him as an Everton player, next season could promise even more for Dewsbury-Hall.
