David Moyes has seen the morale at Everton completely shift since his arrival as many players will be enjoying the post-Sean Dyche era.

Much has been made of Moyes’ second spell at Everton as there has been a rejuvenated spirit around Goodison Park.

Jamie Carragher thinks Moyes ‘gets it’ at Everton as opposed to Sean Dyche who struggled in his time with the Toffees.

Someone who wasn’t favoured under the former Everton boss was Jake O’Brien who Moyes is impressed by.

Now, a Dyche favourite has given his view on how it’s so much better around the club under Moyes.

Sean Dyche favourite shares what’s better under David Moyes

A player who was favoured under Dyche was James Tarkowski, who has been a mainstay in Everton’s lineup for three seasons now.

The defender was a big fan of Moyes’ predecessor as Tarkowski said Everton ‘built something special’ under Dyche, and having been together at Burnley, the two will no doubt keep in contact.

However, despite his praise for the former Toffees boss, Tarkowski believes Moyes has given Everton a ‘boost; since Dyche departed.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Tarkowski said: “This is nothing against the manager that left (Dyche) but you get that little bit of a boost with a new manager.

“We’ve managed to put wins on the board, which is the most important thing.”

Dyche was known for his defensively sound approach but lacked an attacking spark in his Everton side.

This is what Moyes has improved on, but also stuck with the defensive success at Everton.

Tarkowski provided a good example of how Moyes has given a boost at Everton after his performance in the Toffees’ 1-0 against Brighton last Saturday.
