Everton stars have returned from international duty and are now preparing to take on Brentford on Saturday afternoon.
The international break is always a worrying time for managers across the Premier League and Sean Dyche is no different in that – hoping for an injury-free two-week period.
Jarrad Branthwaite had to pull out of the England squad due to a pelvic issue and there was concern about his availability.
However, Branthwaite has returned to Everton training and will be assessed ahead of the Goodison Park clash.
Unfortunately, Armando Broja has been ruled out this weekend but he is edging closer to a return having been on the grass with the first team.
Dyche was able to issue another fitness update on one of his forwards in Thursday’s presser and it’s good news for Everton fans.

Youssef Chermiti returns to Everton training
Speaking to the media in Thursday’s press conference, Dyche was able to issue some positive news about Youssef Chermiti – who’s been plagued by a foot injury this season.
“Youssef is making good progress as well,” the 53-year-old said.
“He’s slightly behind but he had his first full day with us actually today and that was pleasing because he’s worked very hard, very unfortunate injury.
“So yeah there’s two different styles of centre-forwards and we’ll see what they offer but first things first is to get them fully fit and get them out there playing.”

Dominic Calvert-Lewin must be sweating over his place
With Broja and Chermiti now close to making a return to action, out-of-form striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin must be left sweating over his place in Dyche’s 11.
The 27-year-old has scored just two league goals this season and looks completely bereft of confidence.
Everton fans have urged Dyche to drop Calvert-Lewin, but the former Burnley boss appears to be doubling down on his team selection.
Though, the Brentford clash could end up being an ultimatum for Calvert-Lewin; if he doesn’t score, he may be dropped for the Manchester United game.
