Sean Dyche has been very quiet on the takeover front in recent press conferences, but he’s now spoken out on the situation at Everton.
It seems as if it’s just a waiting game now for the Friedkin Group to become the new Everton owners.
Currently, there’s only one hurdle left for the Everton takeover, which is the £200 million debt owed by one of Moshiri’s holding partners to 777 Partners.
However, Farhad Moshiri and Dan Friedkin are confident that will be resolved.
Interestingly, it’s been claimed that the only reason the Friedkin Group are interested in buying Everton is because of the new stadium.
Now, Sean Dyche has finally spoken on the Everton takeover situation and where it’s at.

Sean Dyche issues an update on the Everton takeover
Sean Dyche has kept his mouth shut when it’s come to questions on the Everton takeover up until this point, and even stated he’s not been in contact with them at all.
However, he’s opened up a little bit more in a recent interview, which may offer a little more insight.
Speaking to Robbie Savage and Chris Sutton on the Leaving It Late Show, Sean Dyche has stated that the Everton takeover is looking positive but he’s not 100% sure on it.
“You know, we’ve got another new owner. Possibly. It is possibly. It looks a positive situation that they will go do it, get the deal done. But you know we’re not sure.”
Sean Dyche has nothing to worry about
One of the main talking points this season has been the future of Sean Dyche, which originally came about after the poor start in the Premier League.
With things changing for the better, it looks as if the Friedkin Group are happy to see how things develop from here before making any rash decisions on Dyche.
This comes as a positive change for the Friedkin Group who have been receiving loads of complaints and negative messages from AS Roma supporters and figures in Italy over the Daniele De Rossi sacking.
Hiring the right people in the right places at boardroom level will be key, as the common theme with the Friedkin Group up until now has been that they’re described as having little knowledge on football.
