Everton face a real challenge on Saturday when they make the trip down to the south coast to face Bournemouth.

Sean Dyche will be all too familiar with the issues which the Cherries can cause Everton following their meeting earlier in the term.

Having taken a 2-0 lead, Everton capitulated in the dying minutes of the game to lose all three points.

However, there could be more issues for the Toffees to consider with a weather warning having been put in place ahead of the game.

The Merseyside Derby was postponed last month due to bad weather on Merseyside, and Everton have now shared a statement for fans travelling down to Bournemouth.

Everton share weather update ahead of Bournemouth trip

With three valuable points on the line for the Blues, Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola has praised Everton’s defensive record.

The travelling Everton fans will be making one of the biggest trips of the season all the way down to the south coast.

And the club have shared a weather warning from the Met Office prior to their travels, warning fans of the cold front hitting Bournemouth.

‘The Met Office has issued a Yellow Weather Warning for snow and ice for much of the UK,’ the club said through the Everton website.

‘Please check all travel routes prior to travelling to the game due to avoid any unforeseen travel circumstances.’

Fortunately, there has been little suggestion of the game being postponed this time around, unlike the Merseyside Derby.

Everton predicted XI vs Bournemouth

After their meeting earlier in the season, the Toffees have some serious revenge to strike on the Cherries who have been in impressive form.

Iraola’s side have been able to really kick on this season and have worked their way up into the top half of the table.

Everton have seen Tim Iroegbunam return from injury, but he will not be involved having only just made it back on to the grass at Finch Farm.
