Everton played out a 1-1 draw with Arsenal on Saturday in the Premier League – and there was again no goal for striker Beto.
The Toffees came from behind to take a point against Arsenal at Goodison Park.
Leandro Trossard gave the visitors the lead in the first-half, but Everton showed good character to come from behind.
But there was perhaps a slight element of fortune with the equaliser. Jack Harrison went down under a challenge by Myles Lewis-Skelly which started outside the box.
The penalty was given and upheld by the VAR. Alan Shearer and Danny Murphy both suggested it shouldn’t have been a penalty to Everton, and Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was left furious.
Former referee Mike Dean also felt Everton shouldn’t have had a penalty.
There was no goal for Beto yesterday, and there was one comment Moyes made after the game which may now place the striker on alert.

Since Moyes returned to Everton in January, Beto has been a real success story.
He didn’t get much of a look in under Sean Dyche, and Beto even admitted he might have left the club had Dyche remained.
But in came Moyes, and Beto got the show of faith amid injuries to Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Armando Broja – and he repaid that faith with five goals in his first six Premier League games under the Scot.
But on Saturday Beto failed to score for the fifth game running for Everton, and Moyes said after the game that his side are ‘really missing’ Calvert-Lewin
He said (via Everton official): “We’re getting Broja back up to speed and getting him ready to see as well. So we’re just beginning to get all the players back. Dom [Calvert-Lewin] is the one who we’re really missing, and Myko and Jesper [Lindstrøm] have little injuries but all the rest are fine so we hope we can get them ready to play.”

Beto has had a very good time under Moyes so far
But this comment from the manager may leave him a tad worried.
You don’t really want to hear your manager talking about how the team really misses a player who plays in your position.
Moyes started Calvert-Lewin in his first three Premier League games back in charge, and likely would have stuck with him had he not got injured. That injury opened the door for Beto.

Earlier this year, Leon Osman claimed Moyes always wanted to work with a striker like Calvert-Lewin, so Beto will need to start scoring again if he is to keep his place in the starting XI.
Calvert-Lewin will not be back from injury for a few more weeks yet, so that potentially gives Beto time to get back among the goals.
That said, Moyes does also now have Broja and Youssef Chermiti available, so the pressure is on for the 27-year-old.
