Everton are taking on Leeds United tonight in the Premier League – and it could be the last appearance at the Hill Dickinson Stadium for a few players.
David Moyes is looking to build on the brilliant win over Aston Villa, but faces a tricky test in the form of Daniel Farke’s resurgent Leeds.
Farke was on the brink not so long ago. But to his credit, he has changed up the formation and managed to pull out some good results.
What will you think about TFG if Everton don’t address their needs in the winter window? 🤔
The pressure is on The Friedkin Group according to Alan Myers…
Tonight will see Dominic Calvert-Lewin return to Merseyside to face Everton for the first time since leaving on a free transfer.
Calvert-Lewin suspects it’ll be a strange feeling to play against Everton, and he’ll no doubt hope to get on the scoresheet.
Tonight’s game at the Hill Dickinson Stadium is the last before the January transfer window closes. Everton do have another game against Brighton before the deadline, but that is at the Amex Stadium.
Amid the preparations for the game, there are a number of transfer rumours going around at the moment, and here are a few players who may make their final appearances at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Beto

Beto has long been linked with an exit from Everton, amid his struggles for consistency.
The Guinea-Bissau striker had a good period after Moyes first came in last year, but has not really built on that this season, scoring just two league goals so far.
As a result of his poor haul, there’s been speculation that Beto could leave before the deadline, with the player having interest from clubs in Turkey and Italy.
Everton’s search for a new striker is a further suggestion that he could well be off.
So quite possibly, tonight could be the final time we see Beto turning out in the blue of Everton at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Nathan Patterson

Only a few weeks ago, Nathan Patterson looked all set for an exit from Everton.
However, that is actually now looking a lot less certain, after a suspension for Michael Keane allowed him to get some opportunities.
With Jake O’Brien moving into the middle to cover that absence, Patterson has played at right-back and done well.
He put in a good performance against Sunderland, and Patterson then followed that up with a very solid performance against Aston Villa, which might just see him stick around now.
That said though, Everton remain curious about signing a new right-back, with the likes of Brooke Norton-Cuffy having been linked.
We’ll see what happens, but it’s still not out of the question that tonight is Patterson’s last appearance at the HDS.
Harrison Armstrong (at least this season)
Armstrong will undoubtedly be playing again at the Hill Dickinson Stadium after this game with Leeds.
But it’s not out of the question that this could be his last appearance at HDS this season.
Has Harrison Armstrong done enough to stay at Everton? 🤔
Moyes said before how he’d like to send Armstrong back out on loan to Preston. Ahead of the game with Leeds he has reiterated that, although that does seem less nailed on now, given how well he’s been playing.
But Moyes wants to avoid a scenario where he has too many options and Armstrong is sat kicking his heels on the bench, when he could be starting every game for Preston in the Championship.
If tonight is to be his last HDS appearance of the season for Everton, Armstrong can hold his head high, and take massive encouragement from how he’s played. He’ll surely be back as a regular next season.
