Everton are desperately trying to get reinforcements before the window slams shut on September 1st.

David Moyes has made a right-winger a top priority, with Southampton’s Tyler Dibling heavily linked to Finch Farm.

Lyon winger Malick Fofana is also on Moyes’ radar, but the Belgian international appears to be holding out for a Champions League club.

There has been speculation about Takefusa Kubo, too, but that has since gone quiet over the last few weeks.

With all that said, it has now come to light how many signings Everton are expected to make in the remaining 10 days of the window.

How many signings Everton are expected to make

Dibling is high on Moyes’ list of priorities following the departures of Jesper Lindstrom and Jack Harrison.

Carlos Alcaraz had to play at right wing against Leeds United and looked really uncomfortable, so there is a pressing need to get Dibling over the line as soon as possible.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Everton chiefs believe they will be able to make three more additions, taking the total number of signings to nine or 10.

That was what Moyes had hoped for before the window opened, so the club are keen to meet his expectations.

A right-back and a central midfielder are being targeted, as well as the winger.

Everton exploring deal to sign Yves Bissouma

It appears the midfielder Everton are after is Yves Bissouma, who Thomas Frank excluded from Tottenham Hotspur’s opening day squad.

The North Londoners would be willing to sanction Bissouma’s sale for around £12-14m, which seems like excellent value.

In terms of the right-back, Leicester City’s James Justin has been linked with a move to the Toffees and would only cost £6m.

That’s because he has one year left on his deal, so there is a good opportunity to land his signature at a discounted price.

A telling end to the window awaits the Merseysiders.
