It’s believed that Farhad Moshiri is set to lose a fair bit of money with the sale of Everton, but the Friedkin Group are in the same boat as they’ve incurred huge losses at AS Roma.
The Everton takeover will provide an opportunity for the club to hopefully move forward onto bigger and better things, especially with the new stadium coming in next season.
It’s well-known that the Friedkin Group only really want to buy Everton due to the potential revenue the new stadium can generate, so staying in the Premier League becomes even more important.
But, it remains to be seen as to how much longer Sean Dyche may be in charge, as the teams below continue to pick up points and the gap is getting smaller.
However, the Friedkin Group are in the process of hiring a new manager at Roma with talks being held with Claudio Ranieri in London right now.
It’s certainly not been a smooth ride for them in Italy, and the figures certainly show that as the amount of losses they’ve incurred is staggering.

The staggering amount of money the Friedkin Group have lost since taking over at Roma
Owning a football club certainly isn’t easy and there are big risks that come with it.
Many have tried and failed, just like Farhad Moshiri’s time at Everton for the most part, and to be honest, it looks like the Friedkin Group are struggling at Roma too.

It’s been clamed that Farhad Moshiri is set to lose £750 million through selling Everton to Dan Friedkin (as per Goodison News).
The Friedkin Group aren’t too far behind at AS Roma either, as it’s been claimed by Gabriele Marcotti on ESPN that they’ve lost in excess of €800 million (£665 million).
“The Friedkin Group as an ownership group have have lost something like in excess of 800 million in their time that they’ve owned the club.”
The Friedkin Group could easily earn some money back with Everton
Sam Allardyche has come out and revealed exactly how much revenue Everton could be making per year at the new stadium, and it’s easy to see why the Friedkin Group are so interested.
“Everton are on the decline financially in terms of the spending power because Farhad Moshiri, I feel incredibly sorry for by the fact that you know there was so much money wasted at Everton so the club could have been you know in the top or should have been in the top six with that,” Allardyce said.
“He has to take some blame himself because he unfortunately listened to a lot of people and some of them weren’t quite as good as others, and badly advised.
“And he thought that they were, you know, honest and good for Everton Football Club, and obviously in the end, it wasn’t, and I think that he’s getting out now.
“But his legacy is the new stadium that Everton fans must be really proud of, and that is the saving grace of Everton Football Club and probably for him to recoup some of his money because the amount of revenue that’s predicted that it will turnover is, I am being told and I don’t know whether this is actually true, but in the region of £70, £75 million a year just in stadium revenue.”
