Everton’s new owners are not wasting any time since they were handed the keys to the club just over a week ago.

A new chapter has been opened at Everton, and the results have been providing increased optimism for things to come.

Sean Dyche has retained his position at the club since the takeover with the new owners looking to bring some stability to Merseyside.

The Friedkin Group are plotting big deals off the pitch at Everton as they aim to land a lucrative naming rights deal for the new stadium.

After arriving on Merseyside, the Friedkins have already had some significant decisions to make.

And it seems as if The Friedkin Group have already made their mind up on the future of one Everton chief hired by Farhad Moshiri.

The Friedkin Group set to offer Colin Chong new Everton role

Since sealing the takeover, the Friedkins have handed Kevin Thelwell their backing ahead of the January transfer window.

According to the Liverpool Echo, the new Everton owners are already looking for a replacement chief executive.

Colin Chong is set to be replaced by a permanent figure of the Friedkins’ choice, but this may not be the end of the road for the Farhad Moshiri appointment.

It has been suggested Chong could be retained by The Friedkin Group after finding his replacement having impressed his new bosses.

The Friedkins are expected to offer a ‘surprise’ in January, with Everton in need of some reinforcements in the transfer window.

The Friedkin Group won’t rush Chong’s replacement

Although the process is underway to find a replacement for Chong, it is claimed the Friedkins will not be rushed into making a decision.

Sean Dyche has been handed the support of the Friedkins following his meeting last week with CEO Marc Watts.

The early signs since the takeover have been positive with the results on the pitch helping a lot.

Roma fans have been left frustrated by The Friedkin Group, but it seems as if they are learning from their mistakes for their new venture with the Toffees.
