Everton are looking to arrest their slump in form this weekend as they return to Premier League action.

Brentford are the visitors at Goodison Park on Saturday as Sean Dyche looks to relieve some of the pressure on himself as he fights for his job.

Some Everton supporters want Dyche sacked with the Toffees only three points clear of the relegation zone heading into the game.

The Everton boss will be sweating on the availability of several players and hoping they will be fit enough in time to play.

Jarrad Branthwaite – doubt

Jarrad Branthwaite is set to be assessed ahead of Saturday’s game.

Branthwaite was forced to pull out of the England squad due to a pelvic injury but the defender has been spotted training with the Everton first-team and therefore could be in contention.

Dwight McNeil – doubt

Dwight McNeil missed the goalless draw against West Ham United last time out due to a knee injury. Like Branthwaite, he will also be assessed but should be fit enough to play some part.

Seamus Coleman – doubt

Seamus Coleman is also a doubt after he was forced to withdraw from the Republic of Ireland’s squad for their November fixtures due to a hamstring injury, although he would’ve been unlikely to feature anyway.

Armando Broja – out

Armanda Broja isn’t ready to make his Everton debut just yet but is apparently edging closer and could make his first appearance in the next couple of weeks.

The forward has been training with the squad recently and will probably need some minutes in the Under-21s before being considered for the first team.

James Garner – out

James Garner is still out with a back issue that’s been causing him trouble for the past few weeks. A December return looks the most likely.

Tim Iroegbunam – out

There was hope that Tim Iroegbunam would be available after the international break but that won’t be the case.

Similarly to Garner, fans can expect the summer signing to return around December time.

Youssef Chermiti – out

Youssef Chermiti still doesn’t seem like he will be back in contention, despite Dyche saying last month he would be a few weeks away from returning.
