Everton suffered their fifth defeat of the season on Saturday as they lost 1-0 to Southampton on the South Coast.
Sean Dyche’s side were starting to build momentum heading into the game as they were on a run of five games without a defeat.
But that all came toppling down when Adam Armstrong netted a winner with five minutes of normal time remaining.
Everton thought they’d snatched a late point when Beto scored but VAR deemed the towering forward offside.
Toffees fans fumed at VAR’s decision to disallow Beto’s goal as he appeared to be off by the narrowest of margins.
Speaking post-match, Dyche was more frustrated at the decision not to send off Jan Bednarek, who fouled the former Udinese man as he ran towards goal.
Anyhow, Everton ultimately lost and now a section of the fanbase are calling for him to be sacked with a replacement named.

These Everton fans want Sean Dyche sacked and David Moyes to replace him
Everton supporters took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to voice their frustration at Dyche, with some even calling for him to be sacked.
Many tipped former manager David Moyes to come in as his successor following his exit from West Ham United in the summer.
@Beav1967 wrote: “I know plenty will disagree and that’s fair enough it’s about opinions but if it was possible I’d sack Dyche tonight and appoint Moyes. There’s no way we would be in any relegation mire with DM in charge of this team.”
@Sponge0812 posted: “Think it’s time Dyche goes, easiest start to a season and hardly done anything, dec looks like hell playing all top 8 teams, players don’t look up for it, subs at wrong time and no tactics, do we get Moyes back?”
“Don’t see us actually sacking Dyche since it’d cost too much and he’s in his final year, but if they’ve got Moyes ready to come in I wouldn’t say no,” @Adam_EFC_1878 said.
@Gre9orypeck09 simply said: “I don’t like Moyes but I hate Dyche more. I’d take Moyes until the end of season.”
“Dyche is on borrowed time, once the sale goes through he’s gone & David Moyes will be back at the helm,” @yabadabado31554 said.
“Dyche makes Moyes look like Pep,” @fresta1972 posted.
David Moyes record compared to Sean Dyche
Moyes enjoyed a productive 11-year reign at Goodison Park and is still loved around the fanbase, so his potential appointment would be a popular one among most.
Here is how his managerial record at Everton compares to Dyche’s, as per Transfermarkt.
| Stat | David Moyes | Sean Dyche |
| Games | 518 | 74 |
| Points per game | 1.54 | 1.27 |
| Formation | 4-2-3-1 | 4-4-1-1 |
| Highest finish | 4th | 15th |
Evidently, Moyes’s time at Everton was far more successful, so perhaps if given the opportunity, he could guide the club back towards the top half on a regular basis.
