The January transfer window is almost upon us, and Everton are expected to make some new signings.

David Moyes could make four new signings, with a striker, a holding midfielder and a couple of full-backs potentially on the radar.

Everton have been linked with a move to sign Troy Parrott following his prolific season with AZ Alkmaar and the Republic of Ireland.

Richarlison has also been tipped to return to Merseyside, although both of those deals would require significant finances.

So, Everton may have to offload a couple of players to give them more spending power, and with that said, here are the two first-teamers who could depart.

Beto could leave Everton

Beto has lost his place to Thierno Barry this season, and considering Moyes wants another striker, it would seem he’s set to become the third choice next year.

So, perhaps a January transfer could be on the horizon for the £30m frontman, who had significant interest in the summer.

How much could Everton realistically get for Beto in January? 😬

Or should he even be starting ahead of Thierno Barry?

Leeds United looked at Beto before they signed Dominic Calvert-Lewin, and he was linked with a couple of Serie A clubs.

So, there could be a potential buyer for Beto this winter. The Friedkin Group wanted £21m for him in the last window.

Adam Aznou may depart on loan

Adam Aznou arrived at Everton with big fanfare, but the former Bayern Munich left-back hasn’t even had a look-in.

It was reported that Aznou wants to leave in January and the Toffees would be willing to grant that wish, but only on a loan deal.

La Liga outfit Getafe were exploring a deal to sign the teenager, so a return to Spain could be on the cards.

Everton CEO Angus Kinnear has been impressed by Aznou’s work rate around Finch Farm, so there is certainly a long-term future for him at the club.
