Everton made nine signings over the summer, but there are a number of those players who are yet to make an impact on the pitch.
The January transfer window is now just days away and there will be areas Everton are looking to improve their squad.
David Moyes approved of Everton’s summer business, but there was a strong acknowledgement that not every need would be covered in just one window.
Around the time of The Friedkin Group’s first anniversary on Merseyside the club have taken stock of the work done so far.
Moyes has seen some of the summer signings really make a difference, with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall excelling at Everton.
However, there have been some players like Tyler Dibling and Adam Aznou who have struggled and Angus Kinnear has now addressed their starts on Merseyside.

Angus Kinnear shares encouraging Adam Aznou claim at Everton
Already Kinnear has shared Everton’s January transfer plans as the Blues look to make even more progress in the winter market.
It may not have been the start to life at Everton which Aznou and Dibling would have dreamed of, but the best is surely still yet to come.
Speaking to the Everton website, Kinnear has admitted he has liked what he’s seen from the pair and the other Everton signings at Finch Farm.
How would you describe David Moyes’ handling of Tyler Dibling so far? 😕
He's made just one league start ahead of Arsenal…
“Thierno Barry, Merlin Rohl, Tyler Dibling, Charly Alcaraz and Adam Aznou may have had limited minutes as a collective thus far, but they have shown in their hard work at Finch Farm that they will have the capability to contribute at the highest level,” he said.
Dibling could start against Arsenal on Saturday given the selection issues Moyes is currently dealing with going into the game.
It has been especially difficult for the Moroccan left-back, with Everton already considering loaning out Aznou in January.
Of course, not every signing is always going to prove a success, but Aznou and Dibling still have a lot to prove.
Adam Aznou could be forced into action at Everton
Vitaliy Mykolenko is receiving interest from Fenerbahce and other European sides as his contract situation remains unanswered.
Left-back is another area where Everton have limited options and an injury to Mykolenko could well see Aznou thrown into the mix.
What would YOU do with Adam Aznou in the summer? 🤷♂️
James Garner has already impressed at left-back this season, but he is needed to cover in the midfield.
Like Dibling, there is a clear lack of trust in Aznou from Moyes currently, which is proving difficult to earn with opportunities in the Premier League not on offer.
As Kinnear suggested, Aznou has impressed Everton coaches in training, but that next step in the XI is proving so difficult to come across.
