A return to Merseyside for Richarlison would certainly be a blockbuster deal considering what he means to large sections of the Everton fanbase.
Ahead of the game against Reading, the new Spurs manager decided to omit Richarlison from the squad to face the League One outfit.
The Brazilian returned to training at Hotspur Way on time this summer along with his teammates.
But there was no spot in the side for the 28-year-old, with youngsters like Mikey Moore even featuring ahead of him.
Richarlison admitted he has improvements to make this summer, and it would appear Frank has not seen what he would like in the opening weeks of pre-season training.
It has been suggested that Palmeiras could offer Richarlison a return to Brazil. As his future remains uncertain, the developments on Saturday will certainly add fuel to the fire.

Richarlison’s Tottenham absence not injury-related
Perhaps the most telling development was Richarlison’s omission from the side on Saturday was not believed to be injury-related.
Frank is believed to have completely dropped the Brazilian from the squad, according to reliable Spurs reporter Alasdair Gold.
With Mohammed Kudus coming straight into the squad, the Richarlison decision could say a lot about his future in north London.
Whether this means Richarlison has a move already lined up, or whether he just isn’t in Frank’s plans remains to be seen.
