Everton are an option for Jack Grealish this summer as he looks increasingly likely to leave Manchester City.

The Friedkins are looking to make a big signing for Everton, but Grealish is a player who would certainly test their financial capabilities.

A lot of new faces are needed at Everton this summer following the numerous departures as free agents.

David Moyes is pushing for new recruits ahead of the new season starting; it now looks unlikely that any new signings will be made in time for the flight to the United States.

Attacking signings are being prioritised given Everton’s struggles in recent years in front of goal.

However, Everton face competition for Grealish from West Ham, along with a number of other clubs.

Alan Myers shares likelihood of Jack Grealish joining Everton

An exit away from the Etihad Stadium for the 29-year-old is looking increasingly likely this summer.

Grealish has returned to individual training at Man City, with his teammates still enjoying their summer following the Club World Cup.

As clubs look to land the former England international, Alan Myers has taken to social media to share his thoughts on Grealish joining the Blues.

Responding to a fan asking about the 29-year-old, Myers very simply replied: “I’d be surprised”.

This may not be what some Everton fans want to hear, with Grealish clearly an opportunity a number of Premier League sides are eyeing.

Myers has also played down James McAtee signing for Everton, with the former Sky Sports man claiming Takefusa Kubo is a more likely addition.

With the flight for the United States coming up, Moyes looks set to head to the Summer Series with just three signings under his belt.

Jack Grealish expected to make European move

It has already been suggested that Grealish is prioritising a move offering Champions League football for this season.

However, Myers has a feeling that Grealish could actually venture abroad in search of regular minutes.

Adding to his previous post, Myers added: “My guess would be abroad but honestly no idea”.

Rio Ferdinand has urged Grealish to move to Saudi Arabia, but this would likely end his slim hopes of returning to the England squad.

With an exit looming, Grealish has shared his love for Man City, but it is clear he needs to make a smart choice this summer for his future.
