Everton are targeting a couple of England internationals this summer transfer window.

It has been widely reported that Everton are keen on signing John Stones, who is set to become a free agent upon the expiry of his Manchester City contract.

In fact, it has been claimed that Stones is in advanced talks to re-sign for the Toffees 10 years after departing.

What would you be doing with Nathan Patterson this summer if you were Angus Kinnear? 👋

Surely the writing is on the wall now?

David Moyes is interested in another England star, and he’s also out in America with the 26-man World Cup squad.

Thomas Tuchel actually had a pop at him in training ahead of the second group stage game against Ghana.

Thomas Tuchel urges Everton target Djed Spence to ‘wake up’

It has recently been reported that Everton have added Djed Spence to their shortlist of transfer targets this summer.

With Seamus Coleman departing, the Toffees need a long-term successor in the right-back position.

Spence has been identified by Moyes’ chiefs and it’s claimed that Tottenham Hotspur could sanction his sale for around £35m.

The 25-year-old is currently at the World Cup and an interesting video emerged from England’s training session over the weekend.

The Everton target was captured being shouted at by Tuchel, as the Three Lions boss clearly wasn’t happy with his body language.

Tuchel was heard shouting: “Djed Djed Djed… wake up, wake up! Five minutes already Djed come on.”

The German head coach is evidently very demanding, and that will set his players in good standing when they return to club football.

So, if Spence does join Everton, it will only be a positive that he’s been exposed to a high level of intensity and coaching.
