Everton have several strikers on their transfer shortlist this summer.
David Moyes and his Everton chiefs have looked both domestically and overseas at some number nine options.
The Toffees are showing an interest in Chelsea’s Liam Delap, who is expected to depart Stamford Bridge following Xabi Alonso’s arrival.
What would you be doing with Nathan Patterson this summer if you were Angus Kinnear? 👋
Surely the writing is on the wall now?
Everton are also keen on Arsenal’s Gabriel Jesus, with Mikel Arteta willing to sell for offers in excess of £30m.
AZ Alkmaar’s Troy Parrott is another target on the shortlist, and they’ve also had a look at a centre-forward who is grabbing the headlines at the World Cup.

Everton target Ayase Ueda shines for Japan at World Cup
It was reported earlier this week that Everton were scouting Ayase Ueda after his standout season for Dutch giants Feyenoord.
Ueda netted a whopping 26 goals in 40 appearances and he’s certainly continued that form for Japan at the World Cup.
The 27-year-old striker scored a brace against Tunisia last night, showing both elements of his all-round game.
Ueda netted a superb long-range effort and also scored perhaps one of the best headed goals of the tournament.
Toffees scouts would’ve certainly been impressed by his performance, and they may now go ahead with their rumoured plans to submit a £30m bid for the Japan talisman.
They should look to wrap up a deal during the tournament, as Ueda’s price tag will only rise as he continues to impress.
Plus, there is a growing list of admirers who will provide stiff competition to Everton.
Tottenham Hotspur, Brighton and Hove Albion and Leeds United are among the interested Premier League clubs.
