Three players Everton should target from the relegated Premier League clubs

A big summer lies in wait for Everton after the club missed out on European football.

David Moyes’ side finished 13th in the table in the end, and fans are disgruntled over the way the Toffees threw it away.

Which of these players do you want to see Everton SIGN in 2026?

The following names have been suggested by fans on TalkingPoints…

Everton were in such a great position after the last international break.

But seven games without a win saw Everton fall short, and now The Friedkin Group and Moyes are facing a very big summer.

Of course, Everton were thankfully not involved in any kind of relegation scrap on the final day.

Wolves, Burnley and West Ham were the three clubs to drop – and perhaps Everton should now look at taking advantage.

Hugo Bueno

It’s looking like Vitalii Mykolenko will extend his contract with Everton, which has garnered a mixed response.

But Everton should still be looking to sign a new left-back as a matter of priority – and Hugo Bueno would be a great option.

Wolves had a woeful season, but their Spanish defender was easily one of their best performers.

Bueno only got two assists, but was a threat from the left side, supplying 41 successful crosses from open play (via Premier League), the most out of any of his teammates.

Bueno also won Wolves’ Goal of the Season award for a fantastic strike against champions Arsenal.

Wolves will want to keep Bueno – who’s actually been linked with Everton – at all costs. But he’s easily Premier League-quality and Everton should be at least making some enquiries. And if he can’t be signed, then his teammate David Moller Wolfe would be a decent alternative.

Crysencio Summerville

West Ham’s squad will now be picked apart as a result of their final-day relegation, and Crysensio Summerville will surely have several suitors.

The Dutch winger had a good second half of the season and without him West Ham would have been cut adrift.

Summerville offers pace and direct dribbling, and a bit of unpredictability would not go amiss.

It seems Tyrique George may not be sticking around, so Summerville would be a decent player to go for.

Like with Bueno above, Everton have been linked with Summerville, and his ability to create in the final third should put him high on the club’s list.

Are there any players from the relegated clubs you want to see Everton go after this summer? 🤔

Zian Flemming

Burnley had a horrible season, but Zian Flemming can hold his head high.

The Dutchman was voted the Supporters’ Player of the Season at Turf Moor, with 11 Premier League goals very much helping his cause.

11 goals for a struggling side is impressive going, and his overall record of 26 goals in 69 appearances is not too shabby at all.

Everton had issues in front of goal this season and for many, the jury is still very much still out on Thierno Barry.

But Flemming is definitely a player who knows where the goal is, with his strike against Wolves on Sunday further evidence of that.

Maxime Esteve and Quilindschy Hartman would be other good options to try and sign from Burnley, but Flemming feels like a potentially savvy signing.
