Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been linked with Everton, and fans have had plenty to say about it.
The 2025/26 season is over, and the focus has now shifted to the summer transfer window.

One such position is right-back – and in recent days we’ve seen Everton credited with interest in Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
West Ham need to make a number of player sales this summer after their relegation to the Championship, and it seems Everton could be ready to move for the 28-year-old.
It’s a link that comes as no real surprise and many have branded it underwhelming and with that in mind, here are three Premier League right-backs who’d make better signings for Everton.
Neco Williams
Everton were said to be interested in Neco Williams, who has just won Nottingham Forest’s Player of the Season award.
The Reds are not looking to sell so it would be a difficult one to pull off, and they are also trying to tie him down to a new deal.
But he’d be a much more exciting signing.
As per Squawka, in 2025/26 Williams had 28 shots to Wan-Bissaka’s zero, created 36 chances to Wan-Bissaka’s 18 and completed 29 crosses to Wan-Bissaka’s 16.
Williams did play nearly 1000 more minutes than him, but the Wales international clearly offers more of an attacking threat which is a trait Everton badly need in their next right-back signing.
He’s also extremely durable, missing just three games all season for Forest and playing 90 minutes in 79% of his appearances.
Jayden Bogle
Leeds ended up surviving comfortably in the end, and their wide defenders were key to a successful season.
Leeds started the season with a back four, but amid a poor run, Daniel Farke started using wing-backs.
Jayden Bogle excelled in this role, and finished the campaign with six goal contributions to his name, signalling an attacking threat. Five of these came in the Premier League.
Bogle is three years younger than Wan-Bissaka, and can play as both a full-back and a wing-back, and that versatility adds to his appeal.
Mats Wieffer
Mats Wieffer is one of the unsung heroes of the Brighton team that claimed the Europa Conference League spot this season.
Following a conversion to right-back early in the season, Wieffer has impressed with his energy and physicality for the Seagulls.
He’s not hidden the fact that he would prefer to still be playing in midfield, but is more than happy to play out wide if it means playing regularly.
Wieffer is arguably more defensive-minded, but he still provided two goals and three assists for Brighton in 26 Premier League appearances.
He has the defensive solidity that Wan-Bissaka would bring, but does offer slightly more attacking threat.
The versatility also increases his lure.
