David Moyes and The Friedkin Group will be ready to spend a lot this summer at Everton.

This comes after the claim that Everton have a healthy budget to use, and with Moyes in charge, they’re bound to use it wisely.

Signings don’t come easily for a club like the Toffees, who have seen more flops than successes in recent years.

One player who has been a success is Iliman Ndiaye, who saved Kevin Thelwell’s Everton career before moving to Rangers.

Well now, Tim Cahill thinks Moyes could be signing another Ndiaye-like player, but this could really take Everton to the next level.

Tim Cahill’s admission about Everton target Aleksandar Mitrovic speaks volumes

To achieve a much better season than the last, the Friedkins must be ambitious in this window.

All the signs are looking good after the latest target, who has emerged with Aleksandar Mitrovic linked to Everton.

The former Fulham and Premier League striker is a well-known figure who is known for his ruthless goal-scoring.

On the other hand, he has a side which can get out of control on the pitch as the Serbian’s passion shows through.

Someone who was similar in his playing days was Cahill, who was no doubt an excellent player but had a fiery temper.

Speaking on Mitrovic in 2019 during a Sky Sports coverage, the Everton hero explained how players like the striker can easily get a move, which could speak volumes about what’s to come this window.

“I look at him [Mitrovic] as being made at Fulham. They gave him a lifeline, they put him on the map, yes, he’s scored goals. Players like that need to think about the club now doing as much as they can,” Cahill said.

“The springboard will always come. If you’re a good player, you’ll get a move.”

Mitrovic’s goal-scoring record speaks for itself in the eyes of Everton

Moyes must move for the Serbian, it’s as simple as that.

If Everton want to replicate the likes of Nottingham Forest in surprisingly achieving European football like James Tarkowski said, Mitrovic is the way forward.

Not only is the 30-year-old a menace, but goals follow him wherever they go.

Mitrovic’s all time goal-scoring record
FulhamGoals: 111
Al-HilalGoals: 68
Anderlecht Goals: 44
PartizanGoals: 18
NewcastleGoals: 17

Moyes will know he needs a striker who is Premier League-proven and will hit the ground running straight away.

The only obstacle standing in Everton’s way is a financial one, with Mitrovic likely to demand high wages due to his current location with Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia.
