Jack Grealish has remained at Everton during his recovery from a fractured foot.

Often, loan players return to their parent club during their rehabilitation phase, but Jack Grealish decided to stay at Everton.

That gives a pretty good indication that Grealish would like to re-sign with the Toffees on a permanent deal, so it’s now up to the two clubs to agree a fee.

Which Everton player are you expecting to have the best World Cup? 🏆

It looks as though Grealish will be ready to take part in pre-season, as he posted photos on Instagram showing that he’s back on grass.

The 30-year-old stated: “Ahhh man can’t even explain how good this felt! 5 months ago since I last put my boots on.. Back on the grass today! Best feeling ever man. Time to get ready!!”

There were some pretty high-profile figures responding in the comments section.

Jack Grealish receives the love after positive injury news

Reacting to Grealish’s positive injury update, the likes of Tony Bellew, Declan Rice and James Maddison sent their well wishes to the Toffees loanee.

James Maddison: “Love it brother.”

Molly McCann: “You just make sure that badge still on your chest next season myboy.”

Kalvin Phillips: “Love it mate.”

Fabrizio Romano: “Baaackkk.”

Adam Aznou: “No holidays for you my friend?”

Jake O’Brien: “Love to see it”

Bellew commented multiple love hearts and clapping emojis, evincing how delighted the former World Champion boxer is about Grealish’s return to the Finch Farm grass.

Rice also left a love heart emoji under the post, so Grealish will certainly be feeling the love from his peers.

It has been reported that Man City would consider loaning Grealish to Everton again, so that’d be a very feasible deal to do if they can’t negotiate his £50m buy-option down to a reasonable figure.
