After eight deals already this summer, two more look to be in the pipeline for Everton, and fans think they have the perfect next transfer.
Although the success has been seen in Everton’s early signings, David Moyes will know a few more recruits are needed.
It looks like a right-back and central midfielder will join Everton as the next two possible transfers, but it’s unknown what names have come to the fore so far.
Everton attacked and dribbled brilliantly vs Brighton, and it looks like no more additions are needed in the final third, especially after Tyler Dibling’s arrival.
So this leaves the possible additions of more defenders, and Evertonians have drawn up the perfect player.

Everton fans have suggested Sergino Dest as a possible right-back signing
Even though it was a flawless performance against Brighton, there were still defensive errors that the Toffees got away with.
Depth will be crucial this season, as with Nathan Patterson going on loan to Sevilla, it’s clear that a new right-back is required, and PSV’s Sergino Dest has emerged in a debate on X between fans.
One supporter brought up the original suggestion saying: “”Sergino Dest from PSV could be a shout. Best position is right back but can comfortably play on the left. Played for Barca and briefly at Milan. Good age too,” another fan agreed, responding: “Great shout.”
“Very good player”, another Evertonian said, but one fan thinks European football will play a role: “Good shout…but he will want Champions League.”
One Toffees fan had Dest on his mind already, saying: “Got asked on twitter the other day about right backs he’s one that I said,” with another pointing out how he could be a good fit in real life from past experiences: “Class on football manager.”
The 24-year-old has flourished in the Netherlands with PSV, and his past praise proves that Moyes should pursue a deal.
Sergino Dest’s ‘extraordinary qualities’ can massively improve Everton
Dest, who has now entered his third season with the Dutch giants, has previously played for Barcelona and Ajax.
The USMNT international is an attacking outlet from defence, and shows the ability that would improve the Toffees from these areas.
It’s difficult to judge a full-back who has mixed reviews, but PSV manager Peter Bosz sees him as the ideal defender for any manager.
“He is a versatile player who can occupy both the right and the left-back spot. We help him improve as a defender,” Bosz said to PSV’s official website
“He has extraordinary qualities when he has the ball. Just look at the no-look assist he had for our fourth goal, scored by Malik Tillman.”
Sergino Dest’s excellent assist in PSV 4-0 Zwolle (6:25)
Dest would make for a massive improvement for the Toffees, as his versatility is what stands out in an Everton squad known for injury issues.
But his production in the final third is also key, as seen above, and this is an excellent shout from Evertonians.
