Everton have one week to get any final deals completed at Finch Farm before the transfer window closes.
David Moyes will finally feel as if his squad is coming together, with Everton closing in on Tyler Dibling.
The young winger is set to undergo his medical at Everton on Monday ahead of his big-money move to play his football on Merseyside.
Exciting times are ahead for the Blues, but Wayne Rooney thinks Everton need another three signings over the line after Dibling.
With Jarrad Branthwaite suffering a hamstring injury, there have already been a number of defensive injuries hitting the squad.
Despite this, it has now been claimed that Everton will be allowing one of their defenders to leave, with a deal already in place for his exit.

Everton agree deal to loan Nathan Patterson to Sevilla
Nathan Patterson has returned to Everton training following an injury that was picked up during the pre-season tour.
However, it already looks as if Patterson may need to pack up his possessions at Finch Farm ahead of a move in the final week of the window.
According to The Bobble, Everton have now agreed to loan out Patterson to Sevilla for the 2025/26 campaign.
Despite being short on numbers at right-back, Patterson is set to depart Merseyside in a bid to get some regular minutes under his belt.
Patterson will not be allowed to leave, however, until Everton have brought in a replacement for the Scotland international.
Everton have been searching for defensive additions, with the likes of Jakub Kiwior and Nathan Ake both mentioned.
A right-back has to be on the radar now, as Angus Kinnear prepares to allow his only natural right-back aside from Seamus Coleman to depart.
David Moyes wants a reliable option at right-back
Jake O’Brien has not let Moyes down, filling in at right-back, but there will be a feeling that the Ireland international will be needed at centre-back this season.
Patterson has been linked with an Everton exit for a number of months now, with his injury record not helping his cause for regular minutes.
It seems as if the 62-year-old may have lost patience with the right-back, given Moyes hit Patterson with an ultimatum to prove himself this summer.
The injury may have swayed the Everton boss, but a replacement will still have to be found before the exit can be sanctioned.
Everton tried to sign Kenny Tete earlier this summer, but there are other targets on their radar.
It has recently been suggested that Everton are eyeing Barcelona’s Hector Fort.
