Everton could be set for a very busy summer transfer window.

The Friedkin Group backed David Moyes with a £100m-plus transfer budget last year, so the American investors could spend a similar amount this summer.

Everton’s transfer kitty will certainly be boosted if they manage to qualify for Europe, which is still achievable.

The Toffees have been showing an interest in a number of European players in recent days, and one of them is held in high regard by Victor Osimhen, which is a glowing reference.

Victor Osimhen loves Everton target Gabriel Sara

Everton are reportedly showing an interest in Gabriel Sara and the Galatasaray playmaker is expected to leave this summer.

Sara, who joined in a £15m transfer from Norwich City in 2024, has registered 11 goal involvements for the Turkish giants this season.

The Brazilian is held in really high regard at the club, with Osimhen heaping praise on him earlier this season.

“He has been one of our best players,” the Nigeria international stated.

“We rely on him, and he deserves it”.

Osimhen has also previously labelled Sara as a ‘proper baller’, so that should encourage Everton to launch a bid.

There is stiff competition for the 26-year-old, as Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur are also circling his signature.

The difficulty the Toffees may face is convincing him to join, as Moyes seems to be building an unhelpful reputation of taking too much time to allow new signings to feature.

Recent additions Tyler Dibling, Merlin Rohl, Adam Aznou, Carlos Alcaraz and Tyrique George have all struggled to get game time this term.
