Everton are closing in on the signing of Tyler Dibling from Southampton.
Friday night saw a huge development emerge, with Everton looking set to finally get their top target for the remaining days of the window.
David Moyes will be delighted to see Everton’s patience has paid off in their pursuit to sign Dibling.
After weeks of trying and numerous rejected bids, Southampton lowered their valuation of Dibling and have accepted an offer from the Blues.
This marks a real coup for the Blues, with the likes of Tottenham Hotspur competing for Dibling’s signature.
Everton fans will naturally be excited, but Wayne Rooney has now shared two more signings the Toffees need to make to secure his prediction of European qualification.

Wayne Rooney predicts two more Everton signings after Tyler Dibling
Including Dibling, there is a belief that Everton want to sign three more players this summer before the window closes.
Moyes has constantly spoken about his desire to bring in more players throughout the summer, and Rooney agrees with him.
Speaking on The Wayne Rooney Show, the former Everton forward has admitted there’s two signings he wants Everton to make having predicted them to clinch European qualification.
“They need a few players, obviously. I think that’s clear. I would like to see a couple of full-backs and another striker come in,” said Rooney.
“But first game of the season, Leeds away is always a difficult game. I thought Leeds fans were excellent and really drove their team on.
“I think with David Moyes and his experience that they will make European football.”
Rooney expects Everton to push for Europe this season on the back of some of the signings they have made.
However, it is clear some squad depth is still needed to be added before the window closes in just over one week’s time.
David Moyes says no European football has hurt Everton’s window
It has been a difficult summer transfer window for Everton, with the Toffees still in need of further signings.
Despite signing Thierno Barry, Everton are looking to sign another striker, amid concerns the youngster is not ready to lead the line.
But there have also been difficulties in finding the top quality that Moyes demands.
Everton target Malick Fofana is holding out for a Champions League offer this summer, despite the Blues keen to land him.
And this is something Moyes has really noticed this summer.
“I’ve had a chance to manage at a club (who have qualified). If you’ve got European football, you attract a different level of player, you’re more attractive,” he said during Friday’s press conference.
