Arne Slot is expecting a big atmosphere from the Everton fans on Sunday.
Everton will be hosting the Merseyside Derby for the first time at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, with a fiery atmosphere already expected.
Ahead of the game, Everton supporters will welcome the team coach, with a tifo display also to be unveiled inside the ground.
What is your prediction for this weekend’s Merseyside Derby? 🫣
Three points would be MASSIVE! 💪
After being sent off at Goodison Park last season, Slot has now shared what he’s expecting from the home fans.

Arne Slot shares Everton expectations ahead of Merseyside Derby
Slot was left furious with Everton supporters last season, with the Dutchman believing the Goodison Park crowd affected the refereeing decisions.
Speaking to the media on Friday, the Liverpool boss played down that notion after blaming his anger on the referee.
What changes would you make from the Brentford game? 😬
“The crowd didn’t affect me last season; the referee decisions affected me last season,” Slot said.
“No, I don’t know, because last season was my first Merseyside Derby in that stadium [Goodison Park]. If we would have played in the same stadium, I probably would know what to expect.
“But “I don’t think a stadium is loud; it’s usually the fans that are loud. How much of a difference it will make, I can tell you after the weekend. I think their fans will be loud, and our fans will be loud as well.”
A number of Everton supporters have shared concerns about the Hill Dickinson Stadium, with issues still needing to be ironed out.
However, the atmosphere on Sunday is not expected to be a problem.
Tim Cahill was blown away by Everton’s new stadium on his first visit, with the Toffees already setting the tone for Sunday with the bus welcome.
Although Slot denied being rattled by the Everton supporters, victory for the Blues could really crank up the pressure on the struggling Liverpool boss.
