Everton were able to send off Goodison Park with a huge result in the final game against Liverpool.
The last Merseyside Derby to ever be played at Goodison Park could not have gotten off to much of a better start.
Beto has made a real impression in the starting XI in the absence of Everton’s three other senior strikers.
And he got the Toffees off the mark quickly once again with the Portuguese striker netting yet another goal under David Moyes.
However, the Reds were able to claw their way back into the game with goals either side of the half.
But a last-minute goal from James Tarkowski was able to secure Everton a point in a dramatic ending at the historic ground.
And it was the Liverpool manager Arne Slot who was left furious with gestures even made towards the home fans.

Liverpool manager Arne Slot gestures frustration to Everton fans
Coming into the game, Slot admitted he was ready for the Goodison atmosphere in what was the final derby at the historic ground.
But it would seem as if that was not quite the case.
Speaking for Sky Sports, reporter Adam Bate shared what he saw the Dutch manager doing towards the home fans behind the dugout.
“Slot just letting the officials know that he thinks the crowd just gave a foul against Beto, gesturing to the stands,” he said from Goodison.
“That sort of atmosphere.”
Jamie Carragher and Duncan Ferguson expected a close Merseyside Derby between the two sides and that’s exactly what the first 45 minutes were.
And it was apparent the league leaders were even getting ruffled by the atmosphere with the Liverpool boss letting his emotions take over.
Arne Slot was not pleased with Everton’s tactics
It was not just fouls going for Everton which frustrated Slot with the 46-year-old also annoyed with some of the battles Michael Oliver let slide.
Everton picked up three yellow cards on the evening in what was an intense meeting between the two sides.
But Slot was left bemused by some of the tackles which Oliver allowed to play on inside the opening 45 minutes.
“Slot really unhappy as Everton players leave a bit on their Liverpool counterparts after three consecutive passes by a player in red,” Bate added.
“Everton need to maintain that intensity but the referee has spotted it now so they need to be careful too.”
Moyes has made a strong start at Everton and the Blues are showing more than enough to suggest they will secure safety with a fitting end to life at Goodison.
