David Moyes has completely changed Everton’s fortunes since taking over from Sean Dyche at the beginning of the year.
Everton have gone from scrapping at the bottom, perilously above the relegation zone, to sitting 15 points clear of the bottom three.

David Moyes has implemented a much more attacking brand of football and has massively improved a number of the fringe players.
Beto looks completely reinvented under his stewardship whilst Jake O’Brien is finally getting the game time he deserves.
The Friedkin Group are set to reward Moyes with a substantial budget this summer transfer window and now the Scotsman is keen to be given an additional role ahead of it.

David Moyes wants control of recruitment this summer
Kevin Thelwell is expected to leave his role as Everton’s sporting director this summer as his contract edges closer to expiring.
The Friedkin’s have been assessing a number of potential replacements, with David Weir recently linked to Goodison Park.
However, according to The Esk, Moyes is keen to be in charge of the recruitment himself.
Speaking on Talking the Blues Podcast, the Toffees insider said: “I think Moyes wants primary responsibility for recruiting for the first team. And I think given his record of the past, his track record of the past, that’s warranted and deserved.
“And secondly, I think under the new ownership, perhaps the club’s going in a different direction in terms of recruitment. Perhaps Thelwell didn’t fit that.”
Moyes has a fantastic track record in recruitment
During his first spell at Everton, Moyes made all the important decisions around the club and that included in the transfer market.
He was responsible for nearly all of the club’s signings and often attended games with his scouts to sound out potential targets.
Given how successful that recruitment model was, it wouldn’t at all be surprising if the Friedkin’s allowed him to operate in that same structure.
