Everton have a first XI that, in the eyes of many, should be comfortably mid-table in the Premier League.
However, itās also common knowledge that far more than just a first team is needed to achieve such a feat.
Unfortunately for Sean Dyche, the depth at his disposal simply isnāt of the quality to realistically attain that goal without punching way above his weight.
Beto offers a perfect example of that, as someone that the Everton manager has deemed unfit for purpose, if his usage of him is anything to go by.
Evertonās plans for Beto revealed
And now, speaking exclusively to Everton.News, journalist Graeme Bailey sought to offer an update on this polarising Everton player.
After all, he had already suggested that The Friedkin Group have a plan for Dycheās future, before his attention turned to the former Udinese forward.

The 26-year-old marksman has been dominating the headlines ever since his last-gasp equaliser against Fulham, to which he gave an emotional reaction.
Beto was in tears as he left the pitch, showing just how much this all meant to him.
And yet, Bailey still thinks the club have no plans to continue with him. He claimed: āIām told that he will be available in January if and when it comes to that.
āItās one of those which wasnāt that wise in hindsight. To be fair I donāt think thereās that much pressure on him. Everton fans werenāt looking to him as the oracle.

āIt was one of them where, it wasnāt quite a shot in the dark as heās okay at what he does but heās no more than that.
āItās potentially him to go. Obviously weāve got to see Armando Broja coming back to fitness, and once Broja does come back to fitness we donāt envisage Calvert-Lewin moving this January, never say never, but as it stands donāt expect that to happen.
āSo if and when Broja returns and Calvert-Lewinās there Betoās going to have even less of a chance. I donāt think Everton will be desperate unless they get a decent bid. Theyāll tackle it in January.ā
Should Everton sell Beto in January?
Selling Beto in January is a debate that has raged on since the season began, and his status in the pecking order became evident.
After all, before his introduction last Saturday, the Guinea-Bissau international had been forced to watch as an unused substitute for four Premier League matches in a row.
One goal will likely not change Dycheās opinion on the forward, despite mounting pressure to now start him over the profligate Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
However, to let him go in January might mark a foolish move, especially with the current state of their strikers.

Armando Broja could prove to be a hit, but at the moment, he is just on loan.
Meanwhile, Youssef Chermiti continues to battle injury problems that he just cannot shake.
Calvert-Lewinās refusal to sign a new Everton contract could also see him leave in the summer for free, which might leave them extremely lacking in this department.
Perhaps selling their only reliably fit forward who can be guaranteed to stick around might not be the smartest move.
