Everton suffered a bruising 1-0 defeat to relegation favourites Southampton on the weekend.
That’s put a lot of pressure on Sean Dyche’s future at the football club with Everton languishing in 16th place.

In fact, a section of the Everton fanbase even called for Dyche to be sacked with David Moyes mooted as his potential replacement until the end of the season.
The former Burnley boss appears to be safe, for now, but with the Friedkin Group about to complete their Everton takeover, he should be fearing his job.
Especially after what’s about to happen at Roma – their other owned club.

Friedkin Group about to sack Roma manager Ivan Juric
According to the Roma Press, the Friedkin Group are set to sack manager Ivan Juric.
Juric only joined the Serie A outfit in September, taking over from Danielle De Rossi, but it appears the ownership have lost patience already.
Roma suffered a dramatic late 3-2 defeat to Hellas Verona on Sunday and now reside in 11th place having won three from their opening 11 games.
The soon-to-be Everton owners have already contacted veteran managers Massimiliano Allegri and Maurizio Sarri to potentially take over.
It shows exactly why Dyche should be fearing for his job at Goodison Park as they are absolutely ruthless and willing to make tough decisions.
Graham Potter obvious replacement for Sean Dyche
If Dyche is to be dismissed once the new owners are in post, former Chelsea and Brighton manager Graham Potter would be the obvious replacement.
He’s been out of work since his Stamford Bridge exit in April 2023 and has aired his willingness to return to the dugout.
Potter plays a much more attractive brand of football, too, so the Everton faithful would take well to his style of play.
Plus, he’s excellent at building a long-term project, which is exactly what The Toffees need heading into the new stadium.
A telling few weeks lie ahead on Merseyside.
