The Friedkin Group haven’t even officially become Everton’s owners yet and they’re already showing more willingness than those already at the club.
Everton are in the process of potentially getting new owners after The Friedkin Group agreed to a takeover of the Merseyside club.
Dan Friedkin currently operates at AS Roma, but it appears as if the Friedkins could be about to sell up if what one Italian reporter is saying is true.
The Toffees are making the ‘final checks and touches’ on key detail in Bramley-Moore Dock stadium, which looks set to be ready in 2025.
Interestingly, despite not even being in power yet, it appears as if The Friedkin Group are already making moves on Merseyside.

The Friedkin Group offer up their services for Everton and the Bramley-Moore Dock
Adam Williams last month spoke about the amount of money that can be generated at Everton’s new stadium, which could be in the region of £70 million to £80 million per year.
This is obviously brilliant for the club and the local economy, but these figures probably are based off another season in the Premier League.
With the stadium edging closer to completion, The Friedkin Group have now stepped in with their latest move to help a club they don’t even own yet.
According to the Liverpool Echo, The Friedkin Group, even before taking over officially, will be stepping in to ensure the project is funded to completion as well as covering any working capital costs that the club may need in the short term. The sum is likely to stretch into the tens of millions.
Who are The Friedkin Group?
Well, we’ve compiled a fact file on the prospective new Everton owners, The Friedkin Group.
Dan Friedkin is the current chairman and CEO of the Friedkin Group.
In 2020, the Friedkin Group decided to buy AS Roma for £465m and initially appointed Paulo Fonseca before replacing him with Jose Mourinho.
Interestingly, they want the Toffees to sit alongside Roma at the top of a multi-club ownership model, which would certainly give Everton access to some top players and talents.
