David Moyes is looking to add more quality to his Everton squad in the transfer window this month.
The Friedkin Group are expected to back Moyes in his quest to return Everton to Europe, and the recruitment team have drawn up a list of targets.
It’s understood that Jorgen Strand Larsen is on Moyes’ striking shortlist, along with Ivan Toney and Artem Dovbyk.
How much would you pay for Jorgen Strand Larsen in January? 🤨
He scored 14 in the Premier League last season!
Nicolas Jackson has also been linked to the Hill Dickinson Stadium, although there is significant competition for his signature.
A midfielder is also wanted, and interestingly, Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United sacking this morning could actually impact that transfer plan.

Everton’s potential deal to sign Kobbie Mainoo now surely off the cards
Everton have been keeping tabs on Kobbie Mainoo’s situation at Manchester United since the summer transfer window.
Mainoo has been on the fringes under Amorim and has played just 212 minutes of Premier League football this season.

It was reported that Man United could let Mainoo leave on loan, with Everton and West Ham United named as potential destinations.
But, that now looks completely off the table following Amorim’s sacking, as the new manager will more than likely want to work with Mainoo and hand him a much more important role.
So, Moyes will probably have to move on from the England international and look at other options.
Everton could turn to Watford’s Imran Louza
With the Mainoo deal now off the table, Everton could turn to Watford’s Imran Louza after his sensational season in the Championship.
Louza has emerged as a target for Moyes after registering 13 goal involvements from midfield for the Hornets.
Everton are interested in Imran Louza, thoughts Toffees fans? 👀
It’s understood that Everton scouts have been watching the 26-year-old, and Moyes has always been vocal about his desire to recruit from the second tier.
So, on the midfield front, Louza looks like the leading target at the moment, unless those plans have changed since Harrison Armstrong’s recall.
Conor Gallagher has been linked with a move to Everton, so he’s also an option this month.
