Everton are enduring a torrid season and look set to be involved in another relegation battle.
The Toffees have won just two of their opening 11 games and languish just three points above the bottom three heading into the international break.

Sean Dyche’s men have been bereft of quality going forward and last season’s trusty defence has become leaky.
That’s led fans to call for Dyche to be sacked with many urging the club to appoint Brentford’s Thomas Frank.
That said, if he is to go, he’ll join quite an illustrious list of managers that have been at Goodison park in recent years.
Here are the last five managers at Everton and where they are now.

Where are Everton’s last five managers
Frank Lampard (2022-23)
Since leaving Everton in January 2023, Frank Lampard has been out of work barring an interim stint at Chelsea.
However, he’s now a strong contender to become the new Coventry City manager after Mark Robins’ sacking.
The Sky Blues have aspirations of gaining promotion to the Premier League, so if he is appointed, he could make a return to the top flight within the next couple of years.
Rafael Benitez (2021-22)
Rafael Benitez is currently out of work after being dismissed by Celta Vigo in March just eight months into his reign.
Benitez, speaking on the Stick to Football podcast recently, admitted that he has 12 offers on the table from around the world.
“My first choice is to manage in the Premier League,” he said.
“If not, this year I have two offers from Greece, one from Turkey, one from Hungary, two from Mexico, one from the Emirates, one from Qatar, two from Saudi Arabia and a couple of national teams.”
Carlo Ancelotti (2019-21)
Carlo Ancelotti left Everton in 2021 after a somewhat underwhelming season given the start they’d made, finishing in 10th.
So it was quite a shock when Real Madrid came calling that summer but he’s certainly repaid their faith, winning two Champions League and LaLiga titles.
However, Ancelotti is now at risk of being sacked by Real, according to GOAL, after their poor start to the season.
Marco Silva (2018-19)
When Marco Silva left Everton in December 2019, it felt as though his Premier League career was pretty much over.
But, he’s rebuilt himself with Fulham and has now established them as genuine challengers for a European spot in the Premier League this term.
Silva’s stock has risen to such heights, that Manchester United and Chelsea have been linked with him.
Perhaps The Toffees were too quick to sack him.
Sam Allardyce (2017-2018)
Sam Allardyce wasn’t the most popular figure during his time in Merseyside largely because of his brand of football
But, he managed to guide them to an eighth place finish, which in hindsight, was a very commendable achievement.
Since his departure, Allardyce has worked at West Bromwich Albion and Leeds United, where he has been relegated from the Premier League with both clubs.
