Everton fans have just one thing to say about Sean Dyche after 0-0 draw vs West Ham United

Everton picked up a point in the capital on Saturday afternoon as they played out a goalless draw against fellow strugglers West Ham United.

Both sides headed into the clash in need of a win but in typical fashion, the spoils were shared – which leaves the future of Sean Dyche and Julen Loptegui up in the air.

Hammers boss Lopetegui remains on thin ice and could still be dismissed during the international break having won just three of his opening 12 league games.

Meanwhile, the Friedkin Group aren’t too happy with Dyche, either, but they recognise they’ll have to wait until the summer to find his long-term successor.

Though, Everton fans are still in favour of making a change in the dugout this month.

Everton fans still want Sean Dyche to be sacked after West Ham draw

Everton supporters took to X (formerly known as Twitter) following the West Ham clash to voice their frustration at Dyche – with many calling for him to be sacked.

“It’s absolute nonsense to suggest another manager wouldn’t be getting more out of the players than Sean Dyche currently is. Get him gone,” @jbrookes7 said.

@KB3471 said: “A terrible game and a soulless stadium with no atmosphere. Saved by Pickford again! Dyche just plays awful football and both managers should be sacked. MOTD shouldn’t bother showing it last tonight – just nothing to show!!!”

Can’t wait for dyche to leave this club, I never want a manager who gets pleased for a point. I want to win,” @giants200000 shared.

@Tom_FtblScout posted: “Outstanding performance from Jordan Pickford. I’ll reiterate that Everton won’t go down, but Dyche will be the issue that keeps them in the mix with those bottom teams.”

“Dyche just cannot get a team to play football. We really need these new owners over the line. New manager is priority 1,” @BlueDanEFC.

@Craighunter67 added: “Dyche should be gone today while we have a break we have had a good run of fixtures and HE has failed December is horrendous imagine the position we will be in after that.”

Graham Potter is available

If Dyche is to go this month, Graham Potter is the natural replacement as he’s excellent at building a long-term project.

Potter has been out of work since leaving Chelsea in April 2023 – so his availability would make it much easier to appoint him on a financial basis, even without the new owners in post.

Though, Everton fans aren’t convinced Potter is the right man and claim that his football is more boring than Dyche’s.
