Everton manager David Moyes could have two of his transfer targets snatched by Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli.
David Moyes is exploring a number of deals ahead of the fast-approaching 2025/26 Premier League season.
Adam Aznou is about to join Everton from Bayern Munich, and there is speculation linking Douglas Luiz to Finch Farm.
Moyes is also in the market for a right winger and has drawn up a shortlist which includes Takefusa Kubo, Malick Fofana and Omari Hutchinson.
But, there is a concerning update emerging as two of his Everton targets could now be snatched by Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli.

Everton could miss out on two Leicester City targets
Everton’s midfield ranks are pretty light at the moment with Abdoulaye Doucoure and Orel Mangala departing.
As such, Moyes is keen to bring in a central midfielder and Leicester City’s Wilfred Ndidi is being eyed by the Toffees.
Remarkably, Ndidi has a £9m relegation release clause in his contract, so there is a unique market opportunity for forthcoming suitors to land his signature at a discounted price.
Everton are also interested in Ndidi’s teammate Bilal El Khannouss, who is a very highly-rated young playmaker.
However, according to Ben Jacobs, Al-Ahli are now discussing the possibility of signing both Ndidi and El Khannouss, putting Moyes and his chiefs on the back foot.
Everton struggling to attract players
It’s been a really challenging window for Everton, having only made three new signings in the shape of Carlos Alcaraz, whose loan was made permanent, Thierno Barry and back-up goalkeeper Mark Travers.
Before the window, Moyes wanted 10 new arrivals, so evidently there is a lot of work to do to reach that number.
Moyes admitted it’s been a struggle to attract their top targets due to the lack of European football, with Malick Fofana a notable example.
Fofana is aware of Champions League interest, and so, at the moment, his potential transfer to Everton has been placed on hold.
