David Moyes is in talks to sign Malick Fofana from Lyon, who would be a real statement addition for the Toffees.

Everton are on the verge of signing Adam Aznou, who will come in to compete with Vitaliy Mykolenko for the left-back spot.

Aznou, who recently celebrated his 19th birthday, spent the second half of last season on loan at La Liga outfit Real Valladolid and really impressed.

The Morocco international is expected to be announced as Everton’s new signing on Monday, with the aim of getting some minutes during the pre-season tour in the United States of America.

Aznou could make his debut against West Ham United on Wednesday the 30th of July at Chicago’s Soldier Field.
